It's all about natural selection..
passing on of genes that really make a difference!..
people that mate for life are simply eroding the gene pool. The word "cheating" makes me cringe - as if to any extent anyone has the right to dictate the inevitable fact of evolution.
Anyone boring enough to demand fidelity should be automatically disqualified from the human reproductive process.
Being in any way threatened by any person's natural proclivity to mate is as good a reason as any to be sterilised!
To suggest that people mate for any other reason than a normal and natural response to human chemistry is to deny evolution and natural selection..
A fuck is a fuck for crying out loud - get over it!
For every woman that demands fidelity there are 1000 women who just wanna get laid - have a look five feet outside your precious self-absorbed outlook on life and get with the programme!
We'll all be dead soon enough, don't be naive enough to think that any one person's response to "fidelity" will ever change anything with regard to the propagation of the species - long after you and I are gone people will still procreate - and eat - shit - and eventually die. And guess which "side" of the species has control of this basic response to being born......

I suppose that we are all reduced to our base insticts the ammoral society you describe.
By extesion, I am guessing that you would approve of a man you - like other animal speices- who would be inclined to compete with and/or defend the woman he is trying to propogate with. The stronger, more cunnning victor in such a conflict would then earn the right to pass on his favorable genes.
The only problem with your ammoral plan, is that we live in a society of laws. The superior man would not be able to reproduce becuase he would be imprisoned.
Your rationalization of your apparantly ammoral lifestyle is only intended to antagonize those who suffer and to "cheat" yourself of the truth of who you really are- a miserable, empty, philanderer.

There are very sound and well supported biological reasons for cheating (Darwinian).
There are also very sound and well supported biologically based arguments for cooperation, civility, and group living.
You don't have to have one or the other.
People are innately designed with the desire to cheat just as they are innate designed to be concerned with their reputation and getting along with others.

By the comments that you just made I realize that you probably do not believe in the ten commandments.
I think it states it very clear in the Bible thou shalt not commit adultery.
When it comes to infidelity and cheating on your husband or your wife common sense does not apply.
